US$840 billion, National Smart City Index 2047,

Smart Infrastructure + Smart Mobility + Smart Water + Smart Energy + Smart Waste + Smart Governance + Smart Economy + Smart Safety + Smart Citizen

Smart Cities 2047

(Policy Reforms)

और 2050 तक resilient तथा low-carbon urban infrastructure और services के लिए World Bank ने US$2.4 trillion से अधिक निवेश की आवश्यकता बताई है।

Smart Cities Mission

97% completion
  • 100 ICCCs
  • 83,000+ CCTV कैमरे
  • 17,000+ km water-supply network SCADA monitoring
  • 1,700+ km smart/accessibility-oriented roads
  • 1,300+ public-space projects

Smart City

CCTV + Wi-Fi + App + Command Centre = Smart City

Smart Infrastructure + Smart Mobility + Smart Water + Smart Energy + Smart Waste + Smart Governance + Smart Economy + Smart Safety + Smart Citizen

2.2 Urban infrastructure gap

  • drainage
  • affordable housing
  • parking
  • waste management

2.3 Traffic congestion

Economic productivity का बड़ा हिस्सा traffic congestion और long commuting time से प्रभावित होता है।

2.5 Climate change

  • heat waves
  • floods
  • water stress
  • air pollution
  • extreme rainfall

2.6 Digital divide

Smart City = Smart Data Governance + Privacy + Cybersecurity

  • approval uncertainty
  • transaction cost
  • corruption opportunities

  • transparency
  • predictability
  • investment confidence

World Bank के अनुसार 2036 तक urban infrastructure की आवश्यकता लगभग US$840 billion और 2050 तक climate-resilient तथा low-carbon urban infrastructure/services के लिए आवश्यकता US$2.4 trillion+ हो सकती है।

Centre + States + ULBs + PPP + Municipal Bonds + DFIs + FDI + Pension/Insurance Funds + Land Value Capture

  • commute time घटे
  • logistics सुधरे
  • infrastructure downtime घटे
  • approvals तेज हों
  • water/electricity reliability बढ़े

Vision 2047

Cities' GDP contribution: 75%+

Smart urban transformation

  • Water availability
  • Power reliability
  • Waste collection efficiency
  • Citizen satisfaction

Governance KPI

  • Approval time
  • Grievance resolution time
  • Digital service adoption
  • Revenue collection efficiency
  • Project completion time

Economic KPI

Impact Assessment

Before Project

Baseline

Traffic speed = 22 km/h

During Project

Implementation KPI

Project completion = 75%

After Project

Outcome KPI

Traffic speed = 30 km/h

No Outcome – No Expansion
