SAMRIDH Scheme- Startup Accelerator of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development and Growth Scheme:

 Startup Accelerator of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development, and Growth (SAMRIDH) Scheme: The SAMRIDH Scheme was launched to support existing and upcoming accelerators to select and accelerate potential IT-based start-ups to scale to solve India’s technological challenges and hence creating a positive social impact. TIDE 2.0 will promote tech entrepreneurship through financial and technical support to incubators engaged in supporting ICT startups primarily engaged in using emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, Block-chain, Robotics etc. in pre-identified areas of societal relevance.

The Scheme will be implemented through empowering 51 incubators in India and handholding close to 2000 tech start-ups over a period of 5 years. The scheme envisions creating a holistic ecosystem to support technology startups and incubation centers through identifying and creating necessary linkages.

MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) would be setup under TIDE 2.0 to ensure synergistic linkages among the TIDE centres, theme based incubation centres, Centre of Excellences on emerging technologies and other collaborative platforms. The MSH will also ensure crisscrossing of technology resources across the innovation ecosystem to come out with technology solutions to various societal challenges.

Nyaya Setu-Bridge towards Justice

 India's judicial system is strained with over 40 million pending cases and only around 17,000 judges to handle them, resulting in a slow and inefficient process. This leads to long wait times, increased costs, and a heavy burden on all parties involved. To address these challenges, there is a critical need for a new, transparent system that streamlines workflow and empowers stakeholders. Utilizing Blockchain technology offers a promising solution by ensuring tamper-proof records and transparency throughout the legal process. The objective is to create a faster, fairer, and more accessible legal system that alleviates the strain on judges and enhances the experience for lawyers and users alike.

For Court Staff

  • The court staff can create a new case and add required details
  • The case is stored as NFT in the Blockchain, this ensures transparency of the case
  • As the case proceeds the staff can update the details by making a transaction.
  • The court staff can connect with lawyers, plaintiff or defendants by scheduling a meeting

For Lawyers

  • The lawyers have access to the cases they are involved in.
  • With the help of AI, the lawyer can efficiently analyse the case and case details.
  • The lawyer can seamlessly experience a mock trial by providing the AI judge with the case details

e-Summons service to send Summons/Notice in PDF format to the registered email IDs of Advocates / Litigants is being rolled out

The eSakshya app

 

The eSakshya app is a mobile application developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to assist police in recording and managing evidence in criminal cases.
