GURUGRAM: The RWA has come forward in support of the department of town and country planning (DTCP) to stop unauthorised construction and violation of building plans in licensed colonies.


The RWA has displayed a list of such properties with building plan violations 
Report to Municipal Corporation, Gurugaon MCG and District and Town country planning DTP
file a suit in the civil court
several residents’ groups have appealed to the government to check unauthorised constructions that have mushroomed rapidly in their areas,

if people stop buying properties with unauthorised construction, 

property owners will stop violating norms. 
Action by authority : show-cause notices to a few properties in the area for unauthorised construction,

District town planner had launched self-certification scheme for property owners, under which OCs were issued. “It was later observed that a few owners were misusing the scheme and carrying out unauthorised construction,” he said. The department has recently taken unprecedented action against such owners in DLF areas and Sushant Lok 1 by cancelling around 165 OCs.

Balance Sheet copy sharing with residence by RWA Rule

The Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act 2012 .

Every Society shall supply a copy of the balance-sheet or a statement of accounts together with the auditor's report to every member of the General Body or the Collegium, as the case may be, alongwith the notice of the annual general meeting, unless these documents have been placed on the website of the Society.


(xxii) "Rules" means the rules made under the Act; ..... Every Society shall supply a copy of the balance-sheet or a statement of accounts ..

A resident has the right to get reports such as balance sheet, profit and loss A/c, details of income and expenditure of the society.

A resident has the right to complain at the registrar in case of an improper functioning of a society.

A resident should not be discriminated between the members.
