पर्यटन महानिदेशालय ने ज़मीन अधिग्रहण के लिए पहली किस्त के रूप में 100 करोड़ रुपए जारी करने का पत्र शासन को भेज दिया है.पूरी परियोजना की लागत करीब चार हज़ार करोड़ रुपए आंकी गई है.राम की प्रतिमा के साथ ही रिवर फ्रंट निर्माण को भी इस परियोजना में शामिल किया गया है. इस परियोजना के लिए पर्यटन विभाग ने एनएच बाईपास से लगे मीरापुर दोआबा में करीब 150 एकड़ ज़मीन चिन्हित की है.
